Contemporary cosmology is based on understanding of the dynamics of the Universe, in terms of the General Theory of Relativity, under the strong simplifying assumptions of global homogeneity and isotropy. Here we deal with general questions, from the derivation of FLRW metric to understanding of its dynamics with its many variants and (apparent) paradoxes, but without restricting ourselves to specific material content of the Universe.
